Ashanti is a teen performer, songwriter and actress from the United States was signed by Murder Inc. Records to release her debut album in 2002. That same year, she was featured on Fat Joe's What's Luv? The song "What's Love?" by Fat Joe and Ja Rule's song "Always on Time were both huge hits.
