Alana De Garza's beautiful face has made an impression even on tiny screens. The parents of De La Garza were Mexican-American and Irish-American. The actress was born in Ohio's Columbus on the 26th of December in 1976. It wasn't long before she relocated to Texas. There, she began a career as a physical therapist. De La Garza didn't last for long in Texas before moving in Orlando Florida where she experienced a variety of acting roles including local independent films and global commercials. Even though she had small parts, De La Garza rapidly realized the passion she had for acting. When she moved to New York, in 2001 she landed her first part as a performer for the television show All My Children. In the beginning of 2000, she was a small part on JAG Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men. Her first big series role was in the 2004 short-lived drama The Mountain. De La Garza, who played Maria Serrano on The Mountain was fortunate to have starred with a variety of top TV stars, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pilegget and Mitch Pilegget. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. Later, she starred in her role in the Law & Order: LA short-lived sequel. De La Garza received several nominations for this character, such as Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominees. In 2008, she won the Impact Award from the National Hispanic Media Coalition to recognize Outstanding performance on a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza was then cast as a recurring actor in CSI Miami. She played Marisol Delko and wife to David Caruso's character Horatio Caine. Her most recent appearance on TV was on Doctor. Lena Solis on NBC's slightly more dark-hearted drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her younger sister is Cory as well as being Italian through heritage. She was brought up in an orthodox, religious family. Milano began her acting career when she was seven after her babysitter joined her for an audition. The four selected girls among over a thousand applicants included Milano. Milano was featured in commercials for TV and off Broadway shows, including the American premiere musical adaptation to Jane Eyre.
