Kirsten Vangsness has worked as an American actress since the late 1990s. Her most notable role was that of Penelope Garcia, in the popular police procedural crime show Criminal Minds. Kirsten Vangsness also is the main character in its spin-offs 'Criminal Minds Beyond Borders' as well as Suspect the Behavior. She's appeared in many other TV shows. Since her first appearance in show business in 1998, Kirsten Vangsness has appeared in numerous small characters in the film industry. Her film work includes some of the notable performances include 'In My Sleep, The Chicago 8', and Kill Me, Deadly. She has written articles to the Los Angeles Times and co-wrote episodes for "Criminal Minds". She is a lover of animals particularly cats.
